About Us

At a very early age, Buddy began his journey in the horse business. Growing up on the Biltmore Estate, he rode Hunter/Jumpers at the Estate’s Equine Barn. His natural ability in horse training and communication led to a successful career in showing and training horses.

In 1970, he moved to Bristol, Tennessee, where he managed Larry Carrier’s Rocking C Ranch and Thunder Valley Horse Sales. By 1985, Buddy had purchased land in Blountville, Tennessee, where he expanded his equine services to include stallion breeding alongside his extensive training and showing abilities.

Buddy has stood many world champion stallions, including Wincredible, a 4-time World Champion Halter Stallion, and My Bravado, a multiple AQHA World Champion Halter Stallion and World Champion Producer, as well as a Multiple Congress Champion and Unanimous Congress Grand Champion. Currently, he stands a generation of stallions whose offspring are destined to make a lasting impact in the equine world.
